3rock
Nipped up to 3rock with Pat for a quick evening session. Did all the probs on the boulder with the dyno bar the dyno itself. The high 6a+ around the back is lovely. Headed up to the other steeper boulder and had a few goes on the lower traverse, I think I was doing an eliminate version with a big throw to a jug at the end. It's pure quality, nice long traverse on slopers, mega pumpy power endurance problem, I got in position for the big last move but didn't have the beans left to seal the deal, 6a me bollox it's way harder than the 6a+ on the other boulder !! I won't be able to make a trip to the Cooley's now until I have this problem done, it's a little gem and a real fight. It starts near enough to where I am on the left of this picture and finishes up with the big move where I am on the right. Top notch !!

Looks like the weather is great. But when it's too warm grades feel much harder, especially on granite. Could it be the reason?
ReplyDeleteYou could be right Pierre, especially on such a long slopey problem where more friction for the hands would allow me to hold on a little less tightly, however it sounds like an excuse for lack of endurance and a better sequence !!
