Another 3rock Traverse Session

It's way to hard to study when the weather is so good outside and you've got a sweet problem on your mind. ''Study me arse'' I thought to meself and then I was off to 3rock again for another installment of slopey traverse mayhem. I walked up the hill with 2 bouldering mats and it near killed me. When I came out of the shelter of the forest up at the top the wind was ferocious and the 2 mats were like giant sails billowing as I struggled to keep on me feet. It was worth the hassle though as a quality bouldering session ensued.

 

I put my heart and soul into 8 good attempts at the problem and I came agonizingly close to sending it, but failed again. Progress was made though, normally I set up for the last huge throw for the finish jug and when I try to do the move my arms just die mid move, this time however I managed to make the move 3 times and I actually caught the jug twice but could not for the life of me hold on. I near puked after one go I tried so hard !!  I am defeated again, but I can hold my head up high and say it was certainly not from a lack of trying. It was my third day on bouldering so it should go after a rest day. I am looking foward to the moment I top this one out !! :)
