More Glendalough Shennanigans

What a beautiful weekend !! Spent Saturday and Sunday bouldering in Glendalough. Saturday had a nice low temperature and the conditions were great and I got even closer to doing Chillax, I got right into position for the campus with both my hands on the lip of the roof ready to fire before my fingers unfurled on me, Sunday was a little too hot and the friction and my strengths were not as good ... once again I'll say I'll get it next time. My little bro Jamie got his 1st 6b which he was delighted with and he got the dyno near Big Jane from a sit start and also gave himself a scare when he found himself 3 quarters of the way up the Highball Big Jane slab thinking to himself ''What the fuck am I doing up here, I've got a football career to be thinking about'' before backing off.

All in all a great weekend in the beautiful valley. I got my bouldering in Spain guidebook in the post this morning and the pictures of Albarracin look stunning ... needless to say I can't wait to get over there and check it out. That book will be accompanying me too the Co Op for extra training motivation. Until next time happy climbing folks :)
